There is no published validity evidence for this measure. It was developed with support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Common Fund and Office of Scientific Workforce Diversity under award U54 GM119023 (NRMN) and the ICTR Mentorship Team with support from the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) Grant #UL1TR000427 at the University of Wisconsin–Madison for use in measuring mentoring confidence.
