This measure assesses the extent to which specific topics are addressed or discussed in mentoring from either the mentor or mentee’s perspective.

This is not a multi-item scale for a which mean scale score can be developed. Rather, each individual item represents a unique role a mentor can play for a mentee. Frequency means for each individual item can be calculated across cases and compared between mentor/mentee data if both are collected as part of the same study.

This measure does not have published evidence of validity. Developed by the NRMN Phase II Coordination Center for use in evaluation of mentor training during Phase II of NRMN.
